I have a sister, and she means the world to me! I love that a stamp set in the new Beautiful Days release from Simon Says Stamp honours sisters. This post is part of a blog hop to celebrate the Beautiful Days release, so please scroll down to the bottom for all the details.

sister forever beautiful heart wreath
I started this card with the lovely Mother’s Day Dogwood set. I stamped it lightly on watercolour card and painted it with Daniel Smith paints before die cutting with the matching die. There are lots of lovely details in this heart wreath and I thoroughly enjoyed choosing colours and slowly painting my way around it.
I paired the wreath with a sentiment from the Sisters Forever set, stamped in Versamark ink on Ivory card, Antique Gold heat embossed and then die cut with the matching die.
For the background panel, I took a piece of Fog card and spread embossing paste through the Chunky Knit stencil. The pattern on the part of the stencil I used reminds me of leaves!
I mounted everything with foam tape on an Ivory card base and then accented with Eggshell Pearls, enamel dots and jewels.
Here’s another card I made with products from the new release. You can find the original blog post here. The card uses the Garden Fresh stamp set along with the Sisters Forever set again for the greeting.
