I’m not going to lie, when a new release comes out, I always look for the beautiful florals I can paint and the Butterfly Ranunculus set blew me away! Before I crack on telling you about this card, I wanted to mention that there is a blog party going on over at Simon Says Stamp to celebrate STAMPtember. The party involves oodles of inspiration using the new STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp and lots of fun and games along the way. Find out more if you scroll down.
I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

watercoloured flowers
Isn’t the Butterfly Ranunculus set gorgeous? All those frilly edges and delicate lines make for a sure-fire winner.

I paired the focal point with a sentiment from the Floral Frames set, stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Cream embossing powder. I’ve only just started using the cream embossing powder and now wonder why I waited! The soft colour tones beautifully with the off whites of the watercolour card.

I also used some of my current favourites on this card – torn edges and a little stitching. You’ll see more of that below on one of the cards I shared yesterday.

more inspiration
I shared these two cards yesterday. They both used the Buckeye Leaf die. You can find the origianl post here.

blog party
As I mentioned above, today’s post is part of a blog party to celebrate the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release. You can check out the release here and get a free stamp set with any purchase quoting code M9LA8IHJ while supplies last. Check out the other party participants on the Simon Says Stamp blog and hunt down more codes!

STAMPtember summary
STAMPtember is a very busy time of the month with new releases virtually every day of the month. To help keep you informed of what is going on and what has sold out, I will finish my emails in September with a list detailing each day’s events. I hope this helps keep you up to date. It certainly helps to keep me on track!
