Let’s jump straight in with a little update. I am doing well and recovery from my operation is going to plan. However, my own health pales into insignificance when a family member is not well. There’s a rough summer of treatment ahead of us and as such I am taking a little blog break. I didn’t want to leave you hanging or disappear without an explanation though. And today there is a new Let’s Chill release from Simon Says Stamp. As such I thought it a good opportunity to let you know what is going on while equally leaving you with some eye candy!
I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

You can find the Let’s Chill release here. There is so much to delight and to see you through the summer months.
OK, that’s me for now. I hope to be back soon with more inspiration to share.
Hug those you love.

Sending hugs & prayers that all goes well with you & yours. Thanks for the update & will be thinking of you.

Love this mixed media background, Debbie! It’s a lovely place for this butterfly to perch. Best wishes in your continued recovery and seeing your family through rough times. We all seem to have them and it’s heartbreaking to see those we love suffer. You will be missed….
Yes, the feeling of helplessness when one you love is unwell is overwhelming. I would do anything to change the circumstances. We do what we can though.

Here’s to a quick recovery for you, and the best possible outcome for your loved one.
We are in a similar situation. My partner started first round of chemo treatments on June 9th. New normal for us as we navigate this next stage of his life. Ups and downs. Ups and downs.
My craft room is my sanity.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
I’m sorry to hear you partner is not well, Andi. Chemo and the whole Cancer journey is brutal. Huge hugs x
As others have said, thank you for updating us and wishing you and your family strength to carry on through the stormy waters. When my husband was battling cancer, my craft room was my happy place and really helped keep me sane. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful hobby. Here’s to hope, health and peace.
Creativity is such a wonderful escape, Marilyn. Many hugs to you x
