I’m on the Simon Says Stamp blog today for my monthly Doodling With Debby series. I know it is Diecember, but when I saw the Winter Flower stamp set with that gorgeous Poinsettia bouquet, I knew I had to stamp and paint it! I did use a die for the greeting though LOL. It’s beautiful. Love the colors and the shading. Wish you’d have done a video of you making it.
There is a video Edna! She has the link above to the Simon Says Stamp Blog where the video is posted.
Hi Edna, yes as Sonya (thank you Sonya) mentioned, there’s a video over on Simon Says Stamp. Hope that helps :D
Just watched your excellent video at SSS. I think “easy” does not convey the time and skill you bring to each painting project—with beautiful results. You mentioned using chalk at the end of the video. Is this a special product or regular chalk?
Hi Julie, and thank you! I think the chalk is called a soft pastel, but it basically feels and works like chalk :D
This is an amazing card. I love watching you watercolor and waiting for the finished product. Thanks for sharing this video as missed you.
Just when I thought your last snowflake card was amazing….this one! Another GORGEOUS card! I could watch you paint all day, but I guess I should be the one painting if I want my cards to turn out like yours. This is so beautiful! I would be proud to send out cards that look like this. So personal, stunning, and it would NEVER get placed in the bin. Love it!
Gorgeous card Debby.
You made a haze with chalk in the video was that
a blackboard chalk ?
Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration
and the great video tutorial.
Stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Hi Henriette, and thank you! I think the chalk is called a soft pastel, but it basically feels and works like chalk :D
