I’m on the Simon Says Stamp blog today for my monthly Doodling With Debby series. So often I reach for my Daniel Smith watercolours but for this month’s video, I felt like using watercolour markers and I reached for the Karin Brushmarker Pro set that I have. I used just six colours to paint this beautiful Magnolia Background set which I paired with the Swoopy Thank You. May I ask what pencil sharpener you use?
The points on the Polychromos looked great.
I love long, sharp points and still looking for a good sharpener.

I have been using polychromos pencils for about 3 years now and when I purchased them I was recommended a staedtler pencil sharpener which I purchased and keep with my pencils for use only with them. It is reasonably priced and works great. No breakage and a nice sharp point which is what you want with these pencils. I will be interested to hear what Debbie uses. I too am a fan of her painting!!
Hi Henriette and Judy, for sharpening pencils, I have two options; a plug-in electric Sunrise Pro V12 and a manual T’Gaal one. Both work really well. Hope that helps!
