Today I’m using the faux watercolour technique I shared in my last video but this time I’ll be looking at the effect of generational stamping. I’m not sure if that is the correct term for it, but hopefully, you’ll know what I mean. Before I get started though, I wanted to say how pleased I am that you loved the “Inspired By” series. This will be my second episode and while I was making this card, I was thinking of the fabulous Laura Bassen. I adore Laura, we started out in the card making community at about the same time and I love her beautiful soul, how she tells us all the stories of her family and what’s going on. Not to mention she is the queen of rainbows, colour in general and ink blending magician too. I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

Summary of the project which gives all the views of the card in one photo :D I’d love if you pinned and called by on Pinterest :D
Fantastic card. Thank you.
Well, Debby, I love you BOTH and think you are both just superior artists / designers ! Thanks for a terrific video. I love the way your card turned out and will try this method and will remember to stamp TWICE so that I get the first- AND second-generation versions!
Have a nice weekend!

This was relatively easy to produce but liked the finished product. Thanks for sharing that and showing the three examples. I probably would have ditched the first one but then as you continued to use the ink it was amazing and that dark one might work on another card to cut out a sentiment. Very interesting technique.
Great idea! I just might be able to pull his technique off! Looks a bit messy, but the results are well worth it!
Beautiful card Debby….you always create beautiful cards. Thank-you for sharing the link too….I now follow Laura as well! Thank-you for always sharing what you do…..
Awesome technique and cards Debby.
The first one was a little to bright for me but perhaps with a layer of vellum on top
it would also be a awesome card.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.
