Today, I am delighted to be part of a collaborative card auction benefiting the Autism community. Many card-making artists have donated cards for auction to raise money for the Autism Society of America. Please follow along on Instagram. Here’s AutismAwarenessCardAuction page where you will find all the details and the cards as they are auctioned. Currently, the cards are being posted to the Instagram page but comments are turned off. This way people can browse as to which card/s they may like to bid on.
Bidding on all of the cards will begin on Friday, April 2nd (World Autism Awareness Day) at 9 am Eastern. Each card will have its own post and bidding will take place in the comments of the individual posts. Leave a comment to enter a bid and tag the person before you who was the current highest bidder. Bidding ends on Monday, April 5th at 9 am Eastern.
The winner of the card is the person with the highest bid. They will be contacted with a direct link to make their donation to the Autism Society of America. After a proof is provided of their donation, the artist will send them their card.
If you would like to contribute outside of this auction to support the autism community and directly to the Autism Society of America, please DM this account and a link will be provided.

Here’s a sneak peek of the card I have put up for auction. I looked through my latest cards that I hadn’t sent out to anyone yet and this card jumped out at me. It was popular on Instagram and also the sweet nature of the card and sentiment grabbed me. You can see the original post here.
I hope you will join in supporting this good cause if you can. Again, there’s the Autism Awareness Card Auction profile on Instagram where you will find all the details.
What an awesome idea! Oh I would love this card…or any card of yours Debby! I will have to check this out!
So Debby..do we place our bid in your comments?
Sorry for the delayed response Christine, I’m just catching up after the Easter weekend! No, the bids go in on Instagram, on the auction account post for each card. Hope that helps :D
Thank you Debby. I felt so silly..I figured it out!!!!
There are never silly questions! I will always answer a question here if I can :D
