I’m back today to share another card with the new release from Colorado Craft Company and Anita Jeram. This uses the Snuggles set and a limited colour palette, perfect for a Father’s Day card or any male card for that matter. I find masculine cards so hard to make, but I think these colours help. The style of the card was inspired by a wallpaper/mural I saw on photowall and if you google watercoloured bear, you will see the one I mean. I tried to go in with stronger concentrations of paint to counteract the way watercolour pales as it dries but I still think I have a way to go with this technique. I thoroughly enjoyed trying though and if you have some orange and brown paints around then I highly encourage you to have a go. In the meantime, the new Anita Jeram sets are now available from both Simon Says Stamp and Colorado Craft Company. I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

This is such a beautiful card! I really didn’t think that all those colors would work, but, WOW – it really made the card a Wonderful Masculine card!
