I’m on the Simon Says Stamp blog today for my monthly Doodling With Debby series. I’ve seen some lovely two-for-one versions using this hearts die but I had to do mine in watercolour! I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
I hope you’ll call by and check out the video on Simon’s blog.

Beautiful card, Debby. Especially like the delicate water coloring. I’ll be checking out the SSS blog. tfs-stay well.
Beautiful cards!!! I love a good 2 for 1 card design!!
Debbie, I am always so excited to see your latest project. You are such a talented artist! Would it be possible for you to let us know what colors that you used on this project. I am going to buy my first set of Daniel Smith paints, (because you have inspired me). Do you suggest the tubes or the pans?
Hi Kelley, I’m delighted that I’ve inspired you to follow your own watercolour journey. My favourites are the tubes squeezed into a palette. They rewet easily and are convenient that way. The tubes give you the flexibility to squeeze extra colours onto your palette as the project dictates too. As for the colours, Buff Titanium, Perylene Green and Transparent Red Oxide and touches of Duochrome Autumn Mystery for a little warmth and sparkle. Hope that helps!
Thank you so very much!
LOVE the earthy colors! And the copper penny Nuvo drops and pearls are a perfect touch! So fun to watch the color “blossom” on the paper. 2-for-1 is a great technique….nothing goes to waste!
