Being more nature/botanically inclined with my card making recently, I don’t often make cute cards. However, the bear in the Love You Beary Much set from the recent February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp had me, well the cute bear and that lovely big heart to colour. I love colouring hearts and balloons, basic shapes but you can really play with the shading and highlights on their simple forms. In this video, I’m also exploring the new Mini Slimline card size and spoiler alert I love its compact size! I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.

Pin Me
Summary of the project which gives all the views of the card in one photo :D I’d love if you pinned and called by on Pinterest.
I have to say Debby, it is most certainly the cutest Valentine card ever. So sweet. Just love it. I’m waiting for my set to arrive, but I’m very appreciative of the inspiration, thank you.
I love the speed of this video. I got even more out of watching you paint. Thank you. You have such talent!
Adorable card. Love to watch you paint, this speed was good.
Hi Debbie, I love watching you paint- it’s mesmerising! I’ll watch at any speed but I did like the speed of this video- some sections could even have been slower (I didn’t initially notice you’d swapped to include pencil). It’s great that you mentioned the speed of the video so there’s an understanding of the care and attention you take in painting.
Great card. Love the video at this speed. It was great to see you paint slower . Thank you.
