It’s time for my monthly video feature over at Simon Says Stamp – Doodling With Debby. This month I have a video sharing my hints and tips for no-line watercolouring a lovely background such as this Spring Flowers Background. I paired the watercoloured background with beautiful sentiments from the Gina K/Simon Says Stamp Summer Roses set. I’ve linked all supplies with compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
I hope you will pop over to Simon’s Blog to see the details and video :D

Beautiful card Debby. I wouldn’t have thought of no line colouring on this stamp, what a great idea. Funnily enough I ordered this stamp along with a number of other items when I went on to the site to order the stamp set and background die from the faux watercolour card from yesterday. I hope I used the affiliated link properly.
Thank you Delia, for your continued support and encouragement. Many thanks also for using the affiliate link and helping me to keep doing what I do!
Dear Debby –
I just left a comment over at the SSS blog, and I will repeat it here. Thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through you for just a few moments. I could pretend I was aces at watercoloring and feel satisfaction at creating something gorgeous! I neglected to mention my thanks for your comments at the start about two things: 1) you’ve recently brought an animal into your home. Thank you for doing that! 2) you’d somehow misplaced a video of your stamping the stamp you used for watercoloring. Hallelujah! I’m not the only one!! You gave me a feeling of camaraderie… I do things like that from time to time and am heartened to know that others do as well. Have a great day and thanks for a terrific video.
Lori, it’s lovely to hear that my more ‘real-life’ video was more approachable and relatable! I’m always struggling to find better ways to do things and make things more ‘professional’ when in fact, like you, I prefer to see a more natural approach. I’ll keep that in mind moving forward :D
Each of your cards is a unique work of art. I’m in awe of your talent.
You are a rock star! Fabulous card!
