I love a good leaf sprig! And the Reverse Confetti STAMPtember exclusive Wonderful You set as a fabulous one. There’s an outline for those that like to colour, and alternatively, there are two separate leaf fillers to stamp different colours. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
REVERSE CONFETTI STAMPTEMBER EXCLUSIVE
I kept to my favourite formula and stamped the leaves from the Wonderful You set in Antique Linen Distress Ink and then watercoloured. I gently rubbed Stormy Sky Distress Oxide around the edges of the panel with a blending brush and then splattered with leftover paint, white gouache and Perfect Pearls solution.
When fully dry I stamped a simple greeting from the Wonderful You set in clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold powder.
I then laid the Falling Snow stencil over the panel and used a palette knife to sweep embossing paste through the stencil for a lovely wintery look. Oh, and look at that fabulous granulation from the Daniel Smith paints – it adds so much texture. I think the Cascade Green I used in places has a particularly lovely granulating effect.
Finally, I wrapped the panel with twine and foam mounted it to a Desert Storm card base. I then accented the leaves with gems and sequins.

PIN ME
Summary of the project which gives all the views of the card in one photo :D I’d love if you pinned and called by on Pinterest :D
I have to agree with everyone that this is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your creativity. I know I want to try it , so inspiring.
I first saw this card on SSS, but knew I had to come to the(made in Scotland) :) blog to comment. This is so beautiful(well, stunning really) and your formula seems to be perfect. I wrote it down in my How-To-Journal so I could try it. My results will no doubt be less perfect than yours because of your artistic talent, but well worth the effort. Thank you!
This is Debby Hughes at her very best! I’m pretty awful at watercoloring, but this makes me want to try again.
I love this card! So beautiful and I think this is a lovely stamp set!!
Lately I seem to have an obsession with leaves and this card is stunning! Your description makes it sound easy, but I know it’s not!
This is beautiful. I love seeing your cards.

WOW Debby, what can I say… you knocked this one OUT OF THE PARK….. Again!!!
I especially thank you for the explicit sharing of the details, right down to the granulating watercolor paint.
That is the most beautiful …and frame-able card ever!
Absolutely gorgeous card. I have to say your card was the reason I bought the stamp set. I used the affiliate links so I hope you get the credit for it. Excited to try watercoloring again.
