STAMPtember officially started yesterday with the release of the Simon Says Stamp own brand new products. You can find the Simon STAMPtember release here. Well, today kicks off a STAMPtember Blog Party! More details below. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
GLITTERED DIE CUTS
For my card, I fell in love with the elegance of the new Eucalyptus Leaves dies. I die cut them from hot-pressed watercolour card and painted them with a mixture of Winsor & Newton white gouache and Daniel Smith watercolours. I mixed two aqua colours, one slightly deeper than the other. Once I’d given the die cuts two coats of paint, I then rubbed Ranger Multi Medium Matte over them and dunked them in Tim Holtz Rock Candy Distress Glitter.
I took a greeting from the Inside Christmas Greetings set and stamped it in clear embossing ink on Ivory card and then heat embossed with Antique Gold embossing powder. I trimmed the piece to a wide banner, and then foam mounted the Eucalyptus Leaves a the top.
I foam mounted the banner on a Desert Storm card base stamped in clear embossing ink with the Sketchy Lines Background set. Finally, I accented with a twine bow and a few icy Diamonds and sequins.
MORE INSPIRATION
Yesterday, I shared this pastel autumn leaves card using the Tumbling Leaves stencil along with the Friend die-cut and All The Thanks stamp set. You can find that card here.

Wow! These are gorgeous! So elegant. I love the glitter and that leaf stencil is lovely. I love what you did with it and am going to have to check out the post.
I think the tumbling leaves is a must on my list!!! I’m also intrigued with the eucalyptus die, and well, so much more on this awesome release! LOL! Great cards!
Just a lovely pair of cards. Love your use of the stamps, dies and colours.
