I have a clean and simple triptych collage card to share with you today. I love the elegance of supplies from Alexandra Renke and combined the Line Circle with the Framed Happy here. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used where possible at no cost to you.
TRIPTYCH COLLAGE
I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White card and used a Picket Fence blending brush with my favourite Old Paper, Evergreen Bough and Black Soot Distress Oxide combination (thanks Kristina!). I stamped the Alexandra Renke Line Circle in clear embossing ink, and white heat embossed before splattering the piece with water and mopped up some of the colour to leave highlight areas. I also splattered with a solution of Perfect Pearls and White Gouache.
I then trimmed the piece into three equal panels. I die cut the Framed Happy from Ivory card and then stitched over the edges of the frame to two of the panels. I foam mounted the three panels to an Ivory card base.
For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the Tiny Words Birthday set from Simon Says Stamp in clear embossing ink on Slate card and white heat embossed before trimming to a skinny banner and foam mounting over the die cut frame.
To finish off, I embellished with Nuvo Duck Egg Blue droplets and sequins. I like the fact that the collage of elements spans two of the triptych panels and that Line Circle image is really versatile. Here it reminds me of star trails in a night sky, but it would work equally well as a tree ring on a card with more earth tone colours and a die cut leaf sprig.

Gorgeous card Debby. Love the colours you have chosen and the simplicity of the design. It’s strikingly beautiful.
Unusual and gorgeous card, Debbie. I love the colors.
Debby, you have used my most favourite range of stamping accessories, Alexandra Renke, and you have totally captured the Renke style! I love your triptych card, the colour combination is gorgeous and the subtle look of the stamping and the die cuts is so beautiful. It’s clean and clear, yet intense and striking, a real hit in my book. I like the idea of using the rings in an autumnal fashion too. Maybe you’ll have time to demonstrate that in a couple of months when this very strange British summer is through!!! Thanks for the fab tutorial
Gorgeous card Debby, I love the elegancy of it. The circle stamp is awesome and I also that it is a very versatile stamp. Thank you so much for sharing and have a great week.
Great color combination! Works perfectly with the ivory card stock. I’ll have to mix things up and try ivory more often. Thank you for the ideas!
Debby, this is such a beautiful card. The design layout has a unique touch to it with the happy frame over 2 of the pieces. tfs
I love this design and the color combo! I’ll have to check out what else Alexandra Renke has created; I just love that circle stamp. Thanks for sharing this project! =)
