I hope that you are enjoying the Holidays! Today’s post is part of a hop looking back at my favourite Altenew projects from 2018. More on the hop below. I’ve linked supplies to each project. Compensated affiliate links used.
YEAR IN REVIEW – TOP FOUR
In no particular order, my four top favourites are:
Not unsurprisingly for me, all four of my top picks are watercolours, so 2018 was my watercolour year!
For this first card, I used the Wildflower Garden set combined with the Handmade Tags Die set. I wanted to create the feeling of a windswept English cottage garden with a riot of flowers growing together.
|
For my next card, I tested out the Altenew Watercolor Palette and created a garden using the Beautiful Day, Peony Bouquet, Garden Treasure and Build A Flower Coral Charm sets and paired them with a sentiment using the Halftone Everything dies and matching stamp set.
|
For this card, I combined the Crown Bloom stamp set loosely watercoloured and then added black pen detailing. I mixed the watercoloured panel with a heat embossed sentiment from the Build A Flower Chrysanthemum set.
|
Finally, my last card uses a bunch of Altenew products! I watercoloured a piece using the Perfectly Perfect set, die cut it with the Pocket Banner dies, added a Mega Alphabet E, and the subtle background used the Pinstripes set.

Beautiful work Debbie – I think I would be difficult to select just a few from so many beautiful cards. All the best for 2019.
Gorgeous works of art. Love your style, so inspiring, and thanks for the tutorial.
Oh, Debbie. Your watercoloring is always a treat. I love how you can do both the very loose, flow-y style and the very realistic style. Thanks for sharing with us, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in 2019!
