I have a fun card to share with you today using new products from Simon Says Stamp’s Fun & Festive release. The release has a bunch of popular Picture Book dies and not only that, but there are bodies and tails too! I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
SSS FUN & FESTIVE RELEASE
Let’s take a closer look at what’s in the new Fun & Festive Release.

PICTURE BOOK PUPPY
So I couldn’t resist the new Picture Book dies. There are a number of new additions:
- Big Picture Book Puppy
- Big Picture Book Jack Russell
- Big Picture Book Bear
- Big Picture Book Koala
- Big Picture Book Raccoon
But the exciting thing for me are the mix and match bodies and tails:
- Big Picture Book Hugs
- Big Picture Book Big Body
- Big Picture Book Crouching Paws
- Big Picture Book Standing Body
- and last but not least Big Picture Book Tails
I die cut the Big Picture Book Puppy, Big Picture Book Standing Body and Big Picture Book Tails from Neenah Solar White card and coloured with Copics. I coloured the body in a Christmas red jumper and accented the cuffs of the sweater with the Critter Sweaters set by stamping a couple of the patterns in clear embossing ink, and then white heat embossed. From the Big Picture Book Puppy set I die cut an extra set of ears and nose and coloured these again with Copics before foam mounting to add dimension.
To give a real Christmas sweater feel, I die cut the Rina Snowflake from Neenah Solar White card and adhered to the front of the jumper. I then stamped a greeting from the Tiny Christmas Words set (sure to be a huge hit) in clear embossing ink on a piece of card I’d coloured with a green marker, and then white heat embossed. I trimmed the sentiment to a banner and foam mounted over the snowflake and then accented with a trio of Pink & Main silver glossy dots.
I added a snowy patterned paper hill cut using the Stitched Slopes and Hills dies to a panel of blue patterned paper cut with a Wonky Rectangle die. I foam mounted the blue paper to a white card base, foam mounted the snowy hill, and then you’ve guessed it, foam mounted the puppy on top. I added a pair of googly eyes and then Crystal Glaze to the nose and pink tongue.
Well that’s me for today, but I’ll be back with more inspiration from the Fun & Festive release tomorrow, and then there is a blog hop both tomorrow and Friday. I’ll be joining in on Friday so watch out for that too.

PIN ME
Summary of the project which gives all the views of the card in one photo :D I’d love if you pinned and called by on Pinterest :D
Cute card.
Great cards! I love all the colors and textures of the snowflake card, and the snowflake sweater is too cute for words.
How can anyone possibly resist such cuteness ?!
