STAMPtember is here – let the fun begin! This is the most wonderful time of the year, and I honestly mean that. For crafters, the new seasonal products and the celebration of our industry as companies join together as one, really is fantastic and each year it gives me goosebumps with anticipation! Day 1 kicks off with the release of the Simon Says Stamp brand exclusives and boy is it a fun-filled release! I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

HIPSTER GINGERBREAD MAN
How fun is this Hip Ginger set?! Seriously original and yet took me back to my paper doll dress up times LOL. I stamped the gingerbread man body, beard and sunglasses in Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White card and then cut out with the matching die. I also stamped the hat and cut that out with the matching die too. However, for the clothes, I stamped the shorts and shirt and then fussy cut them out and blackened the edges with a black marker for a polished finished to the dress up clothes. I then coloured everything with Copic markers and added white gel pen accents and Crystal Glaze to the sunnies.
This sentiment is spot on, and I stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black ink at the base of a white panel, and then foam mounted the panel on a white card base.
I wanted a focal point for the gingerbread man, and so I blended Crushed Olive and a touch of Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink through the Mod Stripe stencil and then die cut a Nested Circle from the pattern. I mounted this on a circle of GinaK Key Lime card which I rubbed a little Crushed Olive Distress Oxide around the edges to tone in perfectly with the stencilled piece. I added the circles to the card base, and then foam mounted the hipster gingerbread man on top.
MORE INSPIRATION
There’s a fun STAMPtember party tomorrow, which I will be taking part in so please call by to see this no-line watercoloured card using the new Beautiful Flowers 2 set and uplifting sentiment from the Your Greatest Dreams set.
Then early next week I’ll be sharing this card using the Spider Web background, and Handlettered Halloween sets paired with the previously released Wiggly Spiders dies.
There’s lots more to share over the month with Brand exclusives galore, but those are top, top secret and so no sneak peeks for those! I hope you will join me all month long for the STAMPtember celebrations.
