STAMPtember is such a wonderful time with so many new products being released that I’m going to try and keep up as best as I can to share with you as much inspiration as possible. If you are enjoying all the fun here, I’d super appreciate if you support what I do by clicking through the links (text or thumbnails at the bottom of each post). I receive a small commision when you make a purchase (at no cost to you), and that helps me to keep sharing and doing what I do. Thank you. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. OK, so on to this card and I stamped the Spider Web background on Arches Hot Pressed watercolour card with clear embossing ink and white heat embossed. I then brought in watercolours over the top, and the heat embossing resists the watercolour. I used almost a galaxy kind of technique with hot pinks and purples underneath and then dark blue over the top. Lots of white splatter over the top too for a varied look.
With the background complete, I embellished the web with lots and lots of droplets – clear ones using Crystal Glaze, pearlescent white ones with Nuvo Ivory Seashell droplets and finally, raspberry ones with Nuvo Rhubarb Crumble droplets. I also added a few Crystal Reflections and Pixie Dust sequins. The weather has certainly turned here and today when I went out all the spider webs were glistening with dew, and that was the effect I was aiming for here.
For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the Handlettered Halloween set in Doll Pink ink and then stamped it again in clear embossing ink before sprinkling with Wow Royal Crush embossing glitter and heat setting. This kept the hot pink from the stamping, but the embossing added gloss and glitter – perfect for Halloween!
What’s a spider web without spiders! I die cut three Wiggly Spiders from Magenta glitter card and added googly eyes and then popped them on the web with foam adhesive. I added the finished panel to an Ivory card base.
I’ll be back during the week to share some of the collaboration sets that are being released. If you’ve not experienced STAMPtember before, then Simon Says Stamp collaborates with many of the big brands that you know and love to bring out exclusive stamp sets. These are released throughout the month. So keep an eye out daily on what’s happening as these sets tend to sell out quickly and once they are gone they are gone!

Stunning and creepy in one card, great Halloween card Debby. I love the colours you used. Thank you for these awesome ideas.
Totally amazing card, it makes me smile. The colours are so dramatic. It is simply stunning. You are truly creative and very talented Debby and an inspiration to us all. Mustn’t forget the products, (just received 2 SSS boxes in the post). The spider’s web stamp is fantastic. I don’t make cards for Halloween, but I want this stamp. I’m sure I’ll find a use for it.
Really love your card with all that sparkly glitter and embellishment.
