It’s time for my monthly video feature over at Simon Says Stamp’s blog – Doodling With Debby. For this month’s card, I simply no-line watercoloured the Aloe Vera and terracotta pot from the Plantiful Puns set. The white heat embossed on Fog Centre Cut Geometric Pattern set provided a lovely neutral background with open area to mount the focal point. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I hope you will pop over to Simon’s Blog to see the details and video :D

Hi Debby –
I love this card and always learn so much from your videos – thank you for all the inspiration! I was wondering if you would mind sharing some information about the brush you used here – it looks perfect for detailing.
Thank you –
Jen
Hi Jennifer, the brushes I like are a splurge but lovely! They are Escoda Reserva and the ones I have are travel brushes with the metal handle which pull apart so you can cap the brush when travelling to prevent damage.
Thank you Debby – I am going to check them out!
Gorgeous card Debby, I love your watercolouring and the great background stamp you used. I didn’t expect that you kill avery plant in your house. Is comforting you to know that my daughter is a biologist and that she can’t keep a plant that needs water alive.LOL
Your watercoloring is stunning! I hope I can doodle like you one day lol. Thanks to your video I’m going to at least try :)
Great card. Loved watching your video on the SSS blog. Thanks for sharing your step-by-step creation.
Lovely card and your water colouring is superb as usual.
Cheers
Lisa
