Hello, how about a cute and cheerful look today at one of the new Neat & Tangled sets which will go live this Friday, 9th February. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
The primary focus of this card is the cute critters riding their tandem off to celebrate a birthday! I started by stamping a selection of the images from the new Ride With Me set in Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White card and coloured with Copics before die cutting with their matching dies. I added white gel pen highlights to their cheeks and detail to the present, black glaze pen to their noses and Sparkle pen plus Crystal Glaze to the balloon. I also stamped the banner from the Beach Day set for the little coordinating sentiment in the set. Elena, who designs these beautiful cute sets pointed out that the Beach Day banner is a perfect size!
I blended Rosie Cheeks, Apricot and Duckling inks on a piece of Neenah Solar White card, splattered with paint and Perfect Pearls and used this to back a shaker I’d created by partially die cutting a Nested Circle die from another piece of white card. I added acetate to the back of the die cut opening, added two layers of foam adhesive to give the sequins lots of room to shake, added a few Sherbert sequins and then backed with the ink blended piece.
I foam mounted the scene over the shaker window and then added a black sentiment strip stamped with a greeting from the new So Many Sentiments set in clear embossing ink and white embossed. I love this new sentiment set as my favourite way to add sentiments is with skinny strips, and the font in this set is a perfect size.
