After all the busy holiday preparations, it felt so good to get creative again, and the new Koalifications set from Neat & Tangled made it so easy to get back into it. The new Neat & Tangled release will go live tomorrow, Friday 5th January. Do you ever find that if you’ve had a break from making things that it can be hard to get going again? I loved colouring in this sweetie from the Koalifications set. I stamped him in Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White card and coloured with Copic markers – warm greys for the body and R11 for the cheeks and ears. I then die cut with the matching die.

I’ve always had a love for tags, and so I decided to cut the large tag from the Classic Tags 2 dies from white card. I then added Authentic Seaside pattern paper (I used the 6×6 size, but I can only find the 12×12 size available now) to the base of the tag before rubbing Sand Dunes ink around the edges to soften them a little.

I strung the tag with Blue Jay cord, and then foam mounted the tag on a panel of matching patterned paper. This panel, in turn, is foam mounted on a Desert Storm card base.
