It’s time for some sneak peeks of the new Neat & Tangled release which will go live this Friday. There are five new products on this card – houses from the Warm Winter Scene die, Bunny Slopes set, a sentiment from the Christmas Pageant set, Stitched Slopes dies and finally Snowfall sequins! I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Initially, it was the houses from the Warm Winter Scene die that I wanted to use with a rainbow of blended inks. I die cut the houses from white card and then used a range of Distress Inks to blend colour over them. From top to bottom I used:
- Broken China + Chipped Sapphire
- Dried Marigold + Worn Lipstick
- Squeezed Lemonade + Dried Marigold
- Picked Raspberry + Seedless Preserves + Dusty Concord
- Mowed Lawn + Peacock Feathers
For the trees, I used more Mowed Lawn.
I then turned to the Bunny Slopes set; my son has two white rabbits, and I just had to put this sweet guy on the card!
Finally, I started to put this card together. I die cut three slopes from white card using the Stitched Slopes dies and mounted them on a panel of white card which in turn I mounted on a Fog card base. I then tucked the houses and trees into the slopes using skinny strips of foam adhesive to keep them in place.
I popped the little rabbit on the lower slope with more foam adhesive and then for the sentiment I blended Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves inks into a strip of card, stamped with a greeting from the Christmas Pageant set with clear embossing ink, and then white heat embossed. I trimmed the piece to a banner and added to the top of the card with, you guessed it, more foam adhesive – I do love dimension on my cards!
Phew! Lots of new products on this one card, but I wasn’t finished quite yet as I added a sprinkling of clear sequins from the Snowfall mix.
