I love Concord & 9th’s innovative designs and just had to get the Blooms Fill In set to play with. Rather than red and green I went with a more vintage feel of peach and blue mixed with pops of green and orange. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Fully Stamped Background
The solid background around the flowers in the Blooms Fill In set reminds me of the gouache illustrations I adore, and this set makes stamping that style a breeze. On white card, I stamped the solid background in Mountain Mist, the flowers in Peach Perfect with the flower centres in Firebrick.
I blended Firebrick ink over a scrap piece of card, stamped the Merry sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Greetings set in clear embossing ink and white heat embossed before die cutting with the matching die. I also blended Peach Perfect ink on another piece of card and then stamped, and white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment and trimmed to a skinny banner.
Die Cut Focal Point
I must admit I love this colour combination!
For the background, I stamped Diagonal Stripes in clear embossing ink on a panel of Neenah Desert Storm card. I foam mounted a white die cut hexagon using the Blooms Fill In die set and then wrapped the panel with twine.
Here are the two cards again. I’m really pleased with how these turned out!
