STAMPtember is my favourite month of the year! Simon Says Stamp releases their STAMPtember new products, but also, they collaborate with dozens of other companies to produce limited edition exclusive new sets throughout the month. It’s a testament to the wonderful people at Simon and our supportive and encouraging community that these companies work together – community over competition. Let the STAMPtember party begin! To start off the month, today we have the release of Simon’s STAMPtember new products. There’s a blog hop ongoing starting at Simon’s blog today and another, which I’m taking part in, tomorrow. There’s such a lot of fun in store this month, and I hope you’ll join me here as I try and showcase as many of the new products as I can! I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. FRACTILE LEAVES
Those of you that know me are perhaps not surprised that I jumped straight in to ink up the Fractile Leaves set. I do love a beautiful leaf! The first signs of autumn are appearing, and here in the UK we are at the stage where there are still plenty of green leaves around, but the first yellow ones are appearing too. I took that as my colour scheme and stamped two of the leaves in clear embossing ink on Arches Hot Pressed watercolour card and white heat embossed. I painted over the leaves with watercolours (see supplies below for colours used), letting the heat embossing resist the paint and allowing it to pool and puddle in the wells created from the heat embossing. I splattered the leaves with perfect pearls and Finetec Tibet Gold and then when dry die cut the leaves, one with Simon’s Stitched Circles and one with Hero Arts Nested Circle dies.
I wanted the colourful leaves to pop off a neutral background, and so I reached for my favourite Fog card for the background. I wanted to add a little more detail though and so I white heat embossed the Christmas Sweater Background set before die cutting the panel with a Wonky Rectangle die.
I do love a skinny sentiment strip and the new You Got This set has lots of options. I stamped one of the sentiments in clear embossing ink on Slate card and white heat embossed before trimming into a skinny banner. I added all the elements with foam adhesive on a Marshmallow card base and then accented with Ivory Seashell, Bottle Green and English Mustard Nuvo Crystal Drops.
You can see all the new STAMPtember products from Simon Says Stamp here. I hope you will join me for STAMPtember fun this month. I’ll be back tomorrow as part of a blog hop to celebrate the new release. Here’s a sneaky peek of my card for tomorrow ;)

Beautiful card Debby, love the leaves and they do “pop” off the page. The colors are just so pretty. I just love the changing colors of the leaves in the fall, taking pictures is a hobby of mine and that is my second thing to photograph, the first is my hubby and my bulldog, lol. Thanks.
Stunning color combinations and mediums to showcase both the Christmas sweater background and Fractile Leaves release!
