SIMON SAYS STAMP STAMPTEMBER
Let’s start today by taking a quick look at the current Stamptember collaborations. So far we’ve had the release of the Lawn Fawn Christmas Like No Otter stamps and matching dies on September 04. As I write this the stamps and dies set is sold out as are the dies when sold separately. However, there are a few of the Christmas Like No Otter stamps set still available. The Sugar Pea Koalaty Time sets were released yesterday. These are currently still available as a stamp and die set, individual stamp set and individual dies. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

ALTENEW FABULOUS YOU
So this brings me to today’s release, the gorgeous Fabulous You set from Altenew. The Fabulous You set is available as a combined stamp and die set, individual stamps and individual dies.
I went for a slightly vintage feel to my card using the Fabulous You set – gold heat embossing and softening the edges with Distress Inks and an ink blending tool. But I’m getting ahead of myself. To start with I stamped the lovely large floral image on a piece of Hot Pressed watercolour card in clear embossing ink and then heat embossed with Antique Gold embossing powder.
I loosely watercoloured the flowers and a halo of colour around the flowers, splattered with paint and perfect pearls and left to dry.
When thoroughly dry I die cut the panel with a Wonky Rectangle die and then partially stamped the Good Reading Background around the edges of the panel in clear embossing ink and heat embossed again with Antique Gold embossing powder. I also heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Fabulous You set on a die cut circle of Ivory card.
I blended Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs inks around the edges of the watercoloured panel, die cut sentiment circle and also the Ivory card base. I wrapped the panel with twine and adhered the sentiment circle over the top with foam adhesive. As a final touch, I added a few Robin’s Egg sequins.
