The Neat & Tangled sneak peeks for May are well underway and I’m joining in today with a look at the adorable Prehistoric set which will be released on Friday at both Neat & Tangled and Simon Says Stamp. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I wanted to colour as many of the characters from the Prehistoric set a possible and so I stamped them all out with Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White card, die cut with their matching dies and coloured with Copics. I accented the colouring with a white gel pen, glitter gel pen and Copic glitter pen. I also stamped, die cut and coloured a few trees and a tree stump from the Lumberjack Love set and a heart from the Eggstra Special set. A long DL shaped card fitted the scene I was starting to put together. I cut a long rectangle of white card, masked a hill shape and gently blended in Khaki ink.
I added pebbles and grass tufts with Copics and then foam mounted everyone on to the panel. I then added this panel to a Neenah Desert Storm card base.
The new Neat & Tangled sets including this Prehistoric set will be available from Neat & Tangled and Simon Says Stamp at 8am EST on Friday 05 May :D I’ll be back on Friday with a look at the whole release.
