I love when we have a new company join our community and so was delighted to hear about Flora & Fauna who launched just this year. Simon Says Stamp spotted their great designs too and are carrying the full range. Today I’m taking a look at two sets – Adventure and Under The Sea and I’m delighted to be a guest on the Flora & Fauna blog. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. ADVENTURE
The Adventure set drew me in straight away. We used to have a caravan like this when I was a child! Amazingly, my family of 5 used to fit in there somehow and my childhood memories are filled with caravan adventures. I even remember waking up to a cow poking it’s head in the window once, then there was the time we watched the wild ponies of the New Forest with their foals, the curlew nest hidden in the pebbles beside a Scottish river … happy times! So yes, the Adventure set was a given for me.
Using the Adventure set I stamped a simple scene across a panel of Neenah Solar White card using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink along with Dusty Sage to ground the tent, Seafoam for the pine trees and Rose Apple for the hearts. Then I added some very simple Copic colouring for the rest of the scene.
I couldn’t resist making a quick and easy tag with the VW to go with the card. I used the same supplies again and then a twist of rustic twine to finish.
UNDER THE SEA
How cute are the critters in this Under The Sea set! The Flora & Fauna designs have just the right amount of cute mixed with on trend quirkiness I think.
I actually used the same supplies for this card and tag as I had for the Adventure set – Simon Says Stamp Intense Black to stamp the outline images, Dusty Sage and Seafoam for the plants and then I added in Lake Shores for the waves and Goldenlocks for the sand.
Again I added simple Copic colouring and couldn’t resist a couple of wiggle eyes for the crab – he just kills me LOL.
You can find the Flora & Fauna range both at Flora & Fauna and Simon Says Stamp.

Your cards and tags are awesome Debby. I have been seeing Flora& Fauna’s work recently and I like their style of designs. Heading over to check it out again. TFS!
Sweet cards, Debby. I remember putting up our tent in the New Forest many years ago and seeing the wild ponies in the morning. As students, we didn’t have any money, so we would cycle to Vlissingen, take the ferry across the Channel to Sheerness and cycle from campsite to campsite.
Awww!!! Your cards and tags are so cute!!! Love them!!!
These stamps are so charming. Beautiful cards, Debby!
These are terrific Debby, so crisp and what fun seems and details :-)
What beautiful cards!! I love the crisp, clean scenes that you created with these stamps.
These stamps and your cards are so fun and beautifully colored!
Love your cards and tags! Really like how you created the illusion of under the sea without even coloring the background blue! Fantastic!!
Beautiful cards (and tags!) — love the modern yet retro feel. I’ve long been a fan of Cindi and Lara’s designs under the Savvy Stamps brand — I’m so excited to see them now branching out into clear Stamps with the launch of Flora and Fauna! Looking forward to seeing more from them as their company grows!
Adorable cute cards, loved your stories too
