Today’s card was another I made while away on my recent trip. The printable watercolour cards from Simon Says Stamp are such a great item to add to your suitcase when travelling. If you want to keep things really minimal all you need is a pack of the watercolour cards and your palette plus brush – something to think about as we head in to the nicer weather, day trips and holidays. This card is part of the Mothers and Flowers set which was recently released. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

I think this will be one of my shortest posts because I kept things really simple. While I was away from home I picked one of the cards to colour and painted it with my usual palette of watercolours and Winsor & Newton brush. I often get asked about my favorite brushes – I like the Winsor & Newton Series 7 in sizes 00 and 1.

Then once I got home I then cut the card with a Stitched Rectangle, wrapped it in twine and foam mounted it to a Desert Storm card base. I added a few sequins and Nuvo Jewel drops in Limoncello and Orange Marmalade to finish.
