I’m delighted to join Altenew to celebrate their 3rd anniversary. Today’s post is part of a fun blog hop to celebrate, more details on the hop and prizes below. For now, I wanted to share a card which symbolises to me Altenew and their amazing flower sets. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

I stamped and masked the daisies from the Spring Daisy set in clear embossing ink on watercolour card and then white heat embossed. I love the ease of watercolouring a white heat embossed flower – the little wells left by the raised lines of the heat embossing make for easy watercolouring.

I added a few pencil shadows and then with the colouring complete I didn’t want to cover up too much of the flowers so picked a skinny sentiment from the Painted Butterflies set and white heat embossed it on black card, trimmed to a banner and adhered with foam adhesive.

I mounted the panel on a Desert Storm card base and to finish added some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Limoncello.
