Are you sick of me sharing bunny projects yet! I suppose it is spring and rabbits are synonymous with the season and as I write this the sun is shining, the snow has melted away and we are set to have the warmest day of the year so far. Also, bunnies are adorably cute! So to this spring trio of tag, card and treat bag and I used the beautiful Spring Seeds stamp and die set from Simon Says Stamp. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
To start I stamped the three images from Spring Seeds with Versafine Onyx Black ink on hot pressed watercolour card (smooth surface and easier to stamp the fine lines of the images) and watercoloured before cutting out with their matching dies when dry. I love how different and yet coordinated the three images are. The delicacy of the die cutting with the flower and leaf sprig, the cuteness of the bunny and the classic carrot which would also look fabulous on a seed packet.
I mounted each of the three die cuts on a Stitched Rectangle of Fog card on which I’d stamped the Tiny Alphabet Background with clear embossing ink and white heat embossed. These panels were in turn mounted on a rectangle of Neenah Desert Storm stamped in clear embossing ink with the Diagonal Stripes set. Well I used the Large Tag die to cut the tag for the flower and leaf sprig and then added Lawn Fawn twine.
For the rabbit card I simple mounted the panels on a white 4-bar card base and added a twine bow. To create the treat bag I turned to my favourite Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag cut from white card and then tied at the top with more of the Lawn Fawn twine.
Well that’s all for this week. Gosh it’s a busy time for me at the moment as I prepare for a trip away to catch up with some crafty friends next week. Which equally means I’ll be taking a few days blog break around then too so I can enjoy my time getting crafty, or in reality getting very little done other than talking and laughing until my tummy hurts! I will be back at the beginning of next week though, before I head off on my trip, with a watercolour video so I hope you’ll call by then :D
