More on the hop and giveaway below but for now lets review what’s in the New Beginnings release. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

SIMON SAYS STAMP NEW BEGINNINGS

So I’m back with my card for today’s hop. Any regulars around here know my family are bunny mad as my youngest son has two white rabbits. So the first set for me to colour was a toss-up between the beautiful Spring Seeds set or the cute Some Bunny Special set. Well, cuteness won on this occasion as someone has a birthday coming up soon and I know he’ll adore these bunnies!

I started by stamping all the rabbit images from the Some Bunny Special set in Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White card , coloured with Copics and fussy cut them out. I then used the Nested Circles die set to cut several circles from a panel of white card. On a separate piece of white card I blended in areas of Twirling Tutu, Mint Candy, Deep Dive and Duckling inks that corresponded with the open areas of the die cut circles.

Having created areas of colour I splattered the whole panel with a solution of Perfect Pearls and then when dry, foam mounted the circles panel over the ink blended piece.

I also added a My Mind’s Eye puffy sticker, a couple of Doodlebug epoxy flower stickers and a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins.

For the sentiment, I blended scraps of white card with Mint Candy, Duckling and Twirling Tutu inks and then stamped the ‘birthday’ from the You Matter set and the ‘Bunny’ and ‘Hugs’ from the Some Bunny Special set. Finally I mounted the finished panel on a Fog card base.
