I started today’s card when the Advent release from Simon Says Stamp dropped through my door. This Christmas Town set was a big hit and sold out almost straight away and then it sold out again! However, I believe this beautiful set is due in any day and so it was time to finish this card off and share it here :D I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. This card is simple to put together and almost one layer so great for mailing. I stamped a variety of images from the Christmas Town set using Intense Black ink and where needed I used masking paper so I could give the impression of things being one behind the other. With the masks still in place I also added a mask to create a snowy slope and blended in Rosie Cheeks and Melon inks. I then swiped white embossing paste through the Falling Snow stencil before lifting the masks and coloring with Copics and adding white gel pen and glitter pen accents.

When dry I cut the scene with a Stitched Rectangle and added it to a white card base. I love the soft colors of the sky and had thought about coloring the houses in pretty pastels but in the end opted for some soft neutrals instead.

As mentioned above, this set is currently out of stock but I didn’t want to wait any longer to share this card with you. It is expected in the Simon store soon and you can get an email notification of when it arrives by clicking on the pink ‘notify me when back in-stock’ writing on the web page :D
