I bought this cute Holly Jolly set from Art Impressions last year and then never had time to get a card made with it before Christmas. I still love the set and it makes for a great simple card so I’m happy to get to use it this year :D I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I stamped the snowmen and sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink on Arches card and then watercolored with Distress Inks (see supplies for which ones) using the excellent color guide on the stamp set packaging to help me with color choices. I splattered some white gouache on the sky and then swept white embossing paste through the Falling Snow stencil too.
You can’t see it very well but I also added a few dots of Spica glitter pens here and there to give the snowmen some sparkle.
Finally I mounted the scene on a Desert Storm card base and added a couple of sequins.
