I love extending my Holiday crafting to include tags, gift card holders and bags and today’s video is a combination of all three as I’m using the Gift Bag dies to create a gift card holder tag for a gift bag! I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I started by stamping an image from Waffle Flower’s Peace On Earth on white card and white heat embossing before blending Jellybean and Olive inks over the top. I added watercolor and white gouache splatters and when dry die cut with the Waffle Flower Gift Bag die.
I created the bag by attaching the gift bag die to a white piece of card the same size and then attached two bag handles cut using the Gift Bag dies. Using the flower dies included I cut and layered a poinsettia to add to the bag. I added this gift bag, which fits a gift card perfectly, to a larger gift bag I scored and folded from a piece of Fog card and used one of the Gift Bag dies to create handles. I then looped red ribbon through the handles of both bags so the smaller bag sat nicely on the front of the larger bag.

Thanks so much for sharing this!
What a great idea! It makes a small gift of treats and a gift card look very special. I will probably use these cute bags this Christmas. Thanks, Debby!
