The mail system is starting to show signs of the heavy workload at this time of the year so I’m stalking the postman until I get my parcel delivered! However, do you want to know what I’ll be opening first? Well it will be this set:
I can’t wait to create a winter village scene with this Christmas Town set. I also love seeing more envelopes and am particularly interested in the Ultra Heavy Weight white ones. Today we’ve had the Advent Plus release, but we aren’t finished yet as tomorrow there’s the popular Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit and to give you lots of inspiration from all the releases this week there’s a fun hop on Saturday! I have to tell you that the postman just delivered the Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit and it is jam-packed! Here’s a little peek of the kit that I shared on Instagram yesterday :D
Isn’t that vintage Santa just adorable! I spent some time looking at vintage Christmas cards to get a feel for how he should look and I will say that the Santa of old always had very rosy cheeks. Perhaps he used to enjoy more tipples on his route than he does today after all we are so much more health conscious now LOL!

I was laughing reading about Santa cheeks ;)) yep, we’re maybe too conscious about health nowadays hahaha
First things I opened when my parcel arrived!
Hahahaha! Still laughing at your ‘tipples’ comment. I guess I never thought of Santa tipple-ing on his route but that really WOULD explain the red nose, wouldn’t it, LOL! And that sweet Santa face takes me right back to my childhood. It’s a perfect retro Santa and I can’t wait to see the rest of your card. It must be so exciting to receive all of those packages of paper crafting goodies.
I think when I was young we used to leave a mince pie and a dram of whiskey for Santa and then a carrot and bowl of water for Rudolph! I must admit with my own children we switched the whiskey and left Santa a glass of milk LOL
Yes I am totally broke, but I am buying my own Birthday, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Anniversary, and Christmas gifts to myself so that I can make beautiful things to share with everyone!

Well, that just sounds perfect! I prefer to choose my own presents as then I know I’ll like what I get LOL! The Santa from a stamp set that is part of the Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit :D
