I’ve a couple of simple cards to share today for those occasions where bright and happy flowers and such just don’t seem appropriate. The When You’re Not Around set from Create A Smile Stamps is perfect for these type of cards. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

Both cards are very simply made. I stamped the images and sentiments in Versafine Onyx Black ink on Arches cold pressed watercolor card and then watercolored before adding a few details and shadows with colored pencils.

I then cut the scene with a Stitched Rectangle and mounted on a Desert Storm card base.

On both cards I added a couple of toning sequins as the finishing touch and kept these cards simple and to the point while letting someone know you are thinking of them.
