I’m casing the fabulous Kristina today and a gorgeous card she created with the Abstract Triangles set. Kristina’s card was all deliciously packed with color but you know me, I tend towards the soft neutrals LOL. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I started by stamping the Abstract Triangles in Versamark on Arches watercolor card and then white heat embossing before adding lots of subtle layers of green and blue watercolors. I also added in some Schmincke silver in to some of the mixes to get a subtle shimmer going on :)
I cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle and mounted it on a card base. For the sentiment grouping I watercolored a banner from Thanksgiving Feast in stronger colors and then added the Grateful die cut from silver glitter card. I also watercolored another scrap of card and stamped the ‘for all you do’ from the Thanks set in Versafine Smokey Gray. I mounted all the sentiment pieces with foam adhesive and then added a sprinkling of sequins, water droplets and crystal drops.
I must admit I had a really tough time photographing this card so in real life the subtle colors and shimmer look lovely. I’m hoping it’s not the start of my winter struggles with light here in Scotland. Our clocks went back on the weekend and suddenly we seem to be in that sleepy, misty and damp phase of the year where mornings are slow to appear and evening darkness descends all too quickly! I suppose that will be perfect for tonight’s Halloween shenanigans LOL.

Gorgeous colors, these are my favorites. Also, I’ve recently listened to the Crafty Chat over at Online Card Classes with you and I love looking at your photos knowing about your setup. :)
Beautiful soft effect with these gentle colours – love it!
