I’m delighted to be guesting for Create A Smile today. I’ve a video below watercoloring a cute Koala from All Hands On Deck along with the Pocket Tag die. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Cute packaging is always a winner for me and so I loved the ingenious design of the Pocket Tag die. Having three teenage children I give out a lot of gift cards and money gifts to them and their friends and the great thing about this die is it fits a gift card perfectly!
I started by watercoloring the front flap of the tag as the sea and the inside of the front of the tag is some warm yellows and peaches. I also gave the scallop trim that comes as part of the die set a brush over with a little color and when dry added it to the inside of the waves flap.
I stamped and watercolored one of the koala’s from All Hands On Deck and tucked him in to the waves. I also watercolored some spare card and from that die cut the detailed part of the Thanks Twice die and backed this with the solid version of the die so the wording stood out nicely from the waves background.
On another piece of watercolored card I white heat embossed one of the All Hands On Deck sentiments and then die cut with one of the Lovely Tags in XS size.
I loved this tag on it’s own but equally you could pop it on a simple card front too :D
