Believe In The Season

Lets jump straight in with a look at what’s on offer with the new Believe In The Season release.

It’s time to break out the glitter and sparkle for all those holiday projects!

MAGICAL CHRISTMAS

The classical icons in the Magical Christmas set simply won my heart! I plumped for the stag but I’m planning on that wonderful polar bear making an appearance at some point soon. I stamped the stag in one of the new ink colors – Barely Beige and cut out with the matching die. I also stamped the banner from the set in Merlot and again cut out with the matching die.

For the background I stamped the Holiday Background with Versamark on white card and clear heat embossed. I then blended Barely Blue over the top letting the embossing resist the ink to give a hint of the Holiday wording. I popped the stag and banner on top with foam adhesive.

To embellish I die cut a few snowflakes using the Snow Flurries and Aubrey Snowflake dies, rubbed Ranger multi medium matte on top and then dunked them in Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I added a couple of sequins and rhinestones too and then mounted the finished panel on a Fog card base.

I love the subtle nature of the new colors of ink – right up my street! In total there are five new colors – Barely Beige, Barely Blue, Merlot, Evergreen and Deep Purple :D  I think this card would be suitable for either gender which is always a bonus for those tricky guy cards :D

I’ll be back tomorrow with a hop to celebrate the new release. I hope to see you here then as I’ve got two cards using the Winter Flowers set to give two very different results!
