However for my card and tag duo today I used one of the kit add ons. Winter Time Fun has the sweetest images to create classic Christmas scenes. Oh and the “fluffy hugs” sentiment I had to use based on the fact one of our cute white rabbits is called Fluffy! I’ll pop a picture of him at the end of the post ;)

For the card I stamped the young stag and rabbit on a rectangle of white card, masked them by stamping on masking paper, trimming out and adhering and then I was able to stamp the tree and post box so they appeared as if they were behind the winter critters. I then colored with Copics before masking all the images and cutting a gentle slope from masking paper and blending blue ink along the skyline. I also stamped some snowflakes in the same ink so that it appeared the deer and bunny were gazing up at the falling flakes. The panel is mounted on a fog card base and paired with a red envelope to bring in the Christmas colors.

I repeated a similar scene for on a tag die for the fox and then tied with some red bakers twine.

I’m enjoying my CAS roots with this card and tag duo and the card is almost one layer and so will post easily too :D

FLUFFY

Fluffy

This little guy is the reason I just had to use the “fluffy hugs” sentiment! He is so sweet-natured and belongs to my youngest son who dotes on him with lots of love and cuddles. He was off school for part of last week (just the usual type of virus children like to share with each other) and I caught this sweet moment between the two of them :D
