I love that there are some new plush dies in the STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp – something to keep my sewing needle busy! I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
This Plush Little Owl was so easy to sew together; I simply followed the picture guideline on the front of the envelope. I added in just a couple of leaves to the heart, cut using the Plush Springtime Bunny die :D
He’s so cute! He sits on top of my new draws and is helping me choose a fresh color for the walls in my craft space. You may have seen a peek of him on Instagram ;)
Since I took this picture I think I’ve tried another half-dozen paint samples, but keep going back to the swatch to the right of the plant. The photo washes it out – in real life it is a grey-green color (sort of Iced Spruce) and probably to the eye more like the swatch to the left of the plant. I need to get around to contacting the decorator as I think I’m homing in on this color as ‘the one’! Slow but sure progress :D

Your little owl friend is adorable, Debby, and I just love the way you stage your photos. They’re SO lovely! I have the same lacy top pots in my craft room! I saw them at Ikea a few years ago and absolutely HAD to have them to hold crafty things. I bought 3 for myself and gifted another 3 to my daughter-in-law for her craft space. x
oh my goodness….gah, I need to add that cutie on my SSS shopping list. What an adorable project.
ADORABLE!! Love!

Such a great sense of color and design! Thanks, Debby!
That little owl is beyond cute! Love him, and he looks happy on top of your drawers. And I am liking the “iced spruce” colour, its beautiful :)
I just cannot handle it! So adorable and funny!! Such a sweet little buddy!
When I have my own house I will color all walls in gray;)) love this color!
