I’m kicking off the Clearly Besotted sneak peeks today by embracing a little messy watercoloring with the new Let’s Prance set. The new sets will go live at Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp on 05 September. I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

I really enjoyed making this card despite my OCD tendencies rebelling at the messy watercoloring LOL. I stamped the reindeer and trees from Let’s Prance in Onyx Black ink and filled in the blanks with snowflakes from another new set; On Thin Ice (more on that set soon). One thing I’ll say about messy watercoloring is it is quick and fun! I pulled out my watercolor palette and simply swooshed color on roughly and that was it. It took a little while to stamp out the reindeer but if you stamped multiples using a stamp aligning tool such as the Misti then I can see this card would be quick to make a bunch of :D

I cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle and mounted it on a white card base. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it on a scrap of card and then watercolored over the top to keep with the watercolor look :D

You will be able to check out all the new sets at Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp at 10pm UK time, 5pm EST on 5th September. In the meantime please call by and see Stephanie for more inspiration and links to the team :D
