Finally, my last of three posts today to let you know that I’m delighted to be the Altenew September Video Guest. Pop over to Altenew to see my color layering extravaganza including video! I used the gorgeous Remember This set along with the Red Cosmos and Green Fields ink packs to create what is possibly my most masked and color layered card I’ve ever created. There were a few hiccups along the way which is why when I make a card with lots of inking I stamp up a few multiples so I’ve got a backup LOL. You can see a peek of the project above but I hope you have the chance to see the full project and say hi over on Altenew’s blog :D I’ve linked all supplies at the end of this post. Great job Debbie! Stunning creation. So many great tips too! Thanks for sharing!
Debby, beautiful card as always! Where did you get the organizer for your sequins? Love it!
Hi Terri, it was from Simon Says Stamp but I’m not seeing it there now. It’s made by craftmates I think.
Beautiful card and tag, Debby. Thanks for showing how you use post its to determine stamp placement. That’s a tip I’ll certainly use. And is that tape wrapped around the magnets? Is it to help you pull the magnets apart if they find each other?
Dori, yes the tape around the magnets does help pull them apart but I started using the tape after seeing others use it to help prevent the magnets breaking when they snap together with great force. The tape acts as a little buffer :D
Thank you, Debby! I had never seen the tape on magnets before and I’ve had to really work to separate the magnets when I let them get a bit too close to each other. I’ll tape mine now for sure. X
truly beautiful
This card is amazing!!! So beautiful and elegant!
I should start making multiples as well. As I always screw up my projects lol
I try so hard to but inevitably mess up somewhere when I do a more complex stamped design LOL.
