With the start of June we are thick in to the wedding season so I thought I’d kick off Clearly Besotted sneak peeks with this To Have & To Hold set. The sentiments in the set are aimed at weddings but the beautiful lilies could be used all year round! Using clear embossing ink with white embossing powder on Arches cold pressed watercolor card, I stamped and masked the flowers to give the appearance of a bouquet. I then pulled out my favorite watercolors (see colors in supplies section) and started laying down layers of light color. When dry I went in with Prismacolor pencils to add some last-minute depth; blending the color out with gamsol on a paper blending stump.

The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Smokey Grey and then I cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle and mounted it on a Fog card base before adding the last touch with some sequins dotted here and there.
