Rainbow Card Challenge

I couldn’t resist another card go at the Rainbow Card Challenge! This time I repeat stamped the ice lolly from Altenew’s Way Too Sweet set for some no-line watercoloring! All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

I placed a piece of my favorite Arches cold-pressed watercolor card in the Misti and used it to help me get a nice even row of lollies to color. I used Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp them which isn’t visible once watercolored. I’ll list the watercolors I used in the supplies below :D

I picked a sentiment from the Way Too Sweet set and stamped that underneath the row of lollies in Black Pigment ink which I find copes better with the rough texture of the watercolor card and then cut the piece with a Stitched Rectangle. To get a slightly elongated rectangle wide enough to fit the row of lollies I partially die cut one end and then the other to give a longer rectangle. This is then foam mounted on a Fog card base and a few translucent rainbow sequins added as the last touch.

Do you fancy joining in with the Rainbow Card Challenge – use rainbow colors and then tag two friends. I tagged Yoonsun and Yana yesterday so I’ll just leave it up to you if you fancy taking part :D
