Girlfriends is a wonderful new Mama Elephant set to celebrate the love and support of a good group of girlfriends. I got to meet the Mama Elephant girls Kryssi and Angela this spring while meeting up with my crafty girlfriends.
I treasure the couple of days each year that I’ve been able to hang out with the most wonderful group of friends who are always there for each other, make each other laugh like you wouldn’t believe and hang out in PJs on occasion!
For a quick and easy card I love the the Girlfriends set has a group image; no masking required! However, there are also some individual girls included so if you’re group of friends includes 5 lovely women you can just pop an extra one on the end of the line! All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I stamped the group image in Intense Black ink, added a balloon from Woodland Gifts, masked all the images and then cut a second mask for a hill using the A2 Card Curved Edge die. I blended in Green Apple and Green Leaf for the hill and Rosie Cheeks, Lavender and Sea Glass for the sky along with a little paint splatter for interest. I lifted the masks and then added some simple Copic coloring and a few accents of white gel pen. The sentiment is white heat embossed on black card, trimmed and added with foam adhesive.
Here’s a look at the whole of the new Mama Elephant release:
It’s going to be a busy few days here on the blog as we have a new Simon Says Stamp release tomorrow with a blog hop on Friday. I hope you will join me. Here’s a couple of sneak peeks for the time being :D

Darling card, Debby! I love the colors you used on the background. They’re so pretty and much more interesting than a blend of all one color. x
Super sweet card!
Great pic, too!
Oh, what a wonderful feeling it is to have the support of sisters that come into your life to love you just the way you are, yet help you be better every day. Hooray to them, and to you for such amazing card. Love the pj party idea. Cheers!
