Smiles all round as I’m excited to say there’s a new Simon Says Stamp release, Among The Stars, now available! I know you’ll want to see, so here’s a quick look at whats new. All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Such a lot to love!
I was immediately drawn to the Stacked Stars die cut. I love how the stars randomly fade out around the edges and provide the perfect backdrop for the focal point. I started by blending Rosie Cheeks and Lavender inks across white card, splattering with paints and then die cutting a Basic Rectangle. I love my Stitched Rectangles so I imagine the Basic ones will be great for when you want a perfectly cut, clean and simple panel.
I die cut the Stacked Stars from more white card and simple laid over the top of the ink blended piece and then dotted some sequins around.
For the focal point, I die cut the Hydrangea Petals from various color of felt, added french knots, seed beads and a little Stickles sparkle to the centres. The sentiment is from the Uplifting Thoughts set and stamped in Smokey Grey ink for a nicely muted look to go with the pastels. The sentiments in this set are spot on for giving someone a nice boost and in addition to the one I used today include:
- there are so many beautiful reasons to be happy
- kindness can change the world
- happiness is contagious
- be confident be brave be amazing
- today is a good day to smile
See what I mean, I can imagine myself using this set a lot :D
There’s more fun on the horizon with a blog hop tomorrow to celebrate the new Among The Stars release. Here’s a sneak peek; I hope you will pop back tomorrow to see the full card!

Such adorable, soft colors on the star card. Beautiful.
This is my favourite card so far. Love the soft subtle colours :)
