I’m delighted to be guesting for Concord & 9th this month. I will be having fun with their new release soon (see below) but for today I thought I’d pull out this previously released but oh so fun Pop Art Pineapple to create a miniature focal point that still packs a punch! All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
Concord & 9th are a relatively new company taking the world by storm with their creative ideas which are always bang on trend too. It was a hoot to meet one of the owners, Greg, at CHA and he was such a trooper and totally unfazed by having lunch with a bunch of slightly crazy women – when we get together we can be a bit loud ;) You can see these new June products over at Concord & 9th and Simon Says Stamp.
Back to the pineapple! I started by stamping the two parts, leaves and body, in Antique Linen Distress Ink and then used that as a guide to watercolor on top. I added highlights of gold paint to take things up a notch. I foam mounted the pineapple to a Stitched Rectangle of Arches watercolor card with a quick wash of blue watercolor. In doing so I trapped a swirl of gold thread too.
I stamped the sentiment on the banner from the set and then lightly watercolored before adding on top of the pineapple and then scattering a few sequins around. This panel is then foam mounted on a Fog card base splattered with Heidi Swapp gold spray.
I will be sharing projects with the new release later in the month so keep an eye out for those :D

LOVE this card, can’t wait to see what else you make with Concord & 9th products!
Very sweet card. Love the touch of gold. But you’ve really gotten me excited to see the full reveal of the two colorful cards you showed in the snippet! I’ll be waiting! :-D
LOVE this!!
Love this card. <3 Especially the clothespin, it looks like it's holding your panel in place. Really pretty, I never thought of a card design like this one.
