I actually tried some no line watercoloring to kick off the Clearly Besotted sneak peeks today! I’ve long admired the technique, but often found it tricky. However, inspired by a card Kristina Werner did recently I thought, I’d give it a go! I used the new To You With Love set – those florals just drew me in! All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.

I stamped the flower image on Arches cold pressed watercolor card with Antique Linen Distress ink – this ink is light enough that when colored you won’t be able to see the line and yet it is just dark enough that you can still see where to watercolor. When dry I cut panel with a Stitched Rectangle before stamping the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black.

The panel is then mounted on a Desert Storm card base and accented with a few sequins.

The new sets will go live at Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp at 10pm UK time, 5pm EST on 5th May. In the meantime please call by and see Stephanie for more inspiration and links to the team. Talking of team, I’m delighted that Keren Baker has joined the regular team and then we also have a fabulous guest line up too; Taheerah AtchiaAnita BowdenVanessa Amann and Yoonsun Hur :D
