There were a few things in the Simon Says Stamp June card kit I’d not yet had chance to play with – the gorgeous Bo Bunny Believe papers and the sweet ‘dream‘ die. I do like to use the papers from a kit to create cute packaging and some of my most often pinned pictures are of gift envelopes and packaging especially for a graduate. After all which graduate doesn’t love a gift card or a few dollars?! All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.
I cut two of the patterned papers with the Gift Card Envelope die and paired them with an inspiring sentiment from My Sunshine using Antique Gold embossing powder and the ‘dream‘ die from the kit cut from white card I’d squished clear embossing ink on to and then again heat embossed with Antique Gold embossing powder.
For the final gift card I simply took a 4 inch strip of the patterned paper and scored it twice so that I had the main body of the envelope and a flap. I rounded the corners of the flap, added a strip of patterned paper for detail and another of the dream die cuts. I added sequins to embellish each of the gift card envelopes and of course some $ to go inside!
